Feminist Reading Club

“Feminism is a movement to end sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression.” —bell hooks

Each month, we'll read a short article about a relevant subject — current affairs, race, politics, gender are all fair game — and discuss it together, through the lens of intersectional feminism.

For our August meeting, we'll read and discuss Rebecca Solnit's Lit Hub piece, "Whose Story (and Country) Is This? ON THE MYTH OF A "REAL" AMERICA."

Come at 5:30 p.m. if you'd like to read a hard copy of the article at The Ruby before the discussion begins at 6 p.m.
