Introduction to Erasure Poetry

Erasure is the act of erasing fragments of an existing text to create a new one. In this class, you'll physically "erase" books, magazines, Craigslist ads, and newspapers with markers, paints and scissors. Through guided instruction and exercises, you'll create your own erasure poems. No erasure or poetry experience necessary — all you need is curiosity!
