HAPPY HOUR (AND A HALF) with Erin Di Costanzo

Erin Di Costanzo has fifteen years of experience in the wine industry, and knows that nothing can turn around a bad day like a great bottle of wine.

The General Manager of ACME Fine Wines Retail Shop in St. Helena, Erin connects palates with their undiscovered best picks. From blue-chip cult wines to wineries with yet unknown but soon-to-make-it-huge winemakers, Erin’s considerable and well-established relationships in wine country allow her access and connect customers to the newest and best wines coming out of California.

A Certified Sommelier with accreditation from the American Sommelier Association and the Court of Master Sommeliers, Erin has been a featured speaker, panelist and wine educator for organizations like the Napa Valley Vintners, The Wine Sisterhood and Mighty Summit. Erin’s views on wine have been featured in the Napa Valley Register, Women & Co, Loam Baby, the New York Daily News, and she was notably featured in Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s 40 Under 40: America’s Tastemakers (June, 2013).  Erin was also featured in the Spring 2016 issue of Lucky Peach Magazine.

With her husband, Massimo Di Costanzo, Erin also is the vintner of a Napa Valley wine project: Di Costanzo. Since the 2010 vintage, they have produced small lots of premium Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coombsville AVA. Massimo's background making wine at winery's like Screaming Eagle, Ovid, Rustenberg led him to start this family project with Erin, and together they have been proud to see this wine lauded by publications like Vinous, Decanter, JancisRobinson.com and Wine Spectator
