Join us for a potluck lunch and conversation with the actress and writer Brit Marling, visiting San Francisco in support of the new season of her Netflix TV series, The OA, which she co-created, wrote, and stars in. According toThe Globe and Mail: "The OA is Netflix's strongest and strangest original production since Stranger Things. In terms of substantive, original drama, it transcends it. Mind you, it is unclassifiable in the context of drama, mystery, science-fiction and fantasy, since it is straddling all sorts of lines and blurring them. It is outright astounding and brilliant, too." This new season is filmed partly in San Francisco, and involves puzzles, among other things!
The Q&A and discussion will be led by Ruby member Natalie So, story and art director of Epic magazine and a researcher/consultant on The OA.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a potluck! Please bring a taco fixing to share!
