​This is a generative, embodied workshop integrating artistic experience to tap into the wisdom of our mentors, the nature around us and each other to gain a deeper understanding of a social, cultural, technological change we are experiencing with the acceleration of AI.

​How do we build on ancestral wisdom to shape a future amidst the technological wave of AI? What can we root in? Where are areas for hope and cultural sovereignty?

Workshop participants who register in advance will receive a short list of reading and opportunity to add to the list of readings. 30 min of reading is recommended, though not required in advance of the workshop.

​About the Instructor, Tara Dorabji

​Tara Dorabji is the author of Call Her Freedom, winner of the Simon & Schuster Books Like Us Award. Her documentary film series on human rights defenders in Kashmir won awards at over a dozen film festivals throughout Asia and the USA. This workshop supports the development of her next novel exploring cultural erasure and human's relationship with technology.
