In this introductory brush lettering workshop, taught by local letterer Jenna Carando, you'll learn the basics — and practice the fundamental techniques — of brush lettering. We'll cover the entire alphabet (upper and lowercase) in various brush lettering styles. Once you've become acquainted with the brush pens, hand positions, and basic strokes, you'll have the opportunity to practice your own words and phrases, testing out your own lettering styles. Blank cards and envelopes will be provided so you can utilize your new brush lettering skills to make cards for friends and loved ones. This class is for beginners; no prior lettering experience is necessary!

After class, you'll come away with:

• Practice sheets completed during workshop
• Blank practice sheets to practice at home
• Two brush pens
• A basic understanding of brush lettering
